Manufacturing capabilities

Production Built Around the Component

IBERIAHOLZ organizes serial production of plywood components according to customer technical documentation. The manufacturing process is configured around the requirements of each component, including geometry, material, tolerances, volume, quality control and supply conditions.

Production route

Not a List of Operations. A Defined Manufacturing Route.

The appropriate sequence of operations is defined for each component. Depending on the application, the process may include cutting, CNC machining, milling, drilling, holes and slot machining, external contour processing, edge processing, sanding, marking, dimensional inspection and preparation for packaging. The required operations and their sequence are defined following technical review.

Core operations

Manufacturing Operations Selected for the Requirement

01

Cutting

Sheet preparation based on raw material dimensions, component geometry, material utilization and requirements of subsequent operations.

02

CNC Machining

Repeatable external contours, circular and shaped parts, holes, slots and cut-outs with controlled feature positioning.

03

Drilling

Customer-defined hole diameter, quantity, positioning, spacing and repeatability according to technical documentation.

04

Milling & Profiling

Grooves, recesses, cut-outs, shaped contours, localized machining and preparation of joining features.

05

Edge Processing

Burr removal, smoothing, localized sanding and preparation of edges for further use.

06

Sanding

Removal of machining marks, surface smoothing and preparation for subsequent operations or agreed visual requirements.

07

Marking

Part number, batch number, production date, revision, quantity or other agreed identification for serial programs.

08

Dimensional Inspection

Control of critical dimensions, tolerances, feature positioning, inspection points and agreed acceptance criteria.

Material

Plywood Selected for the Technical Requirement

The plywood specification is defined according to the technical and economic requirements of the component. The material may be specified by the customer or proposed by IBERIAHOLZ following technical review. Selection may consider mechanical properties, thickness, material construction, surface quality, operating conditions, machining requirements, appearance requirements and production economics.

Technical review

Six Inputs Define the Production Approach

01

Geometry

Dimensions, contours, holes, slots and critical features.

02

Material

Suitability of the material for the component and manufacturing process.

03

Tolerances

Critical characteristics and achievable acceptance criteria.

04

Production Route

Required operations and their sequence.

05

Production Requirements

Batch size, program volume and required production resources.

06

Quality

Inspection points, documentation and batch release requirements.

Controlled process

Responsibility for the Final Result

For IBERIAHOLZ, the key requirement is not where each individual operation is performed, but how the manufacturing process is controlled and who is responsible for the final result. IBERIAHOLZ remains responsible to the customer for conformity of the supplied product with agreed requirements.

Program volume

Production Structured Around Real Demand

When evaluating a new production program, we consider not only the component itself but also estimated annual demand, typical batch quantity, order frequency, potential volume changes, required capacity flexibility and delivery requirements. The production setup is structured according to expected demand and supply reliability requirements.

Preparation for supply

Finished Components Prepared for Transportation

After production and quality control, finished products are prepared for transportation. Depending on the component and customer requirements, this may include palletization, protective materials, separators, securing, labeling, batch identification and customer-specific packing arrangements.
